Nyx’s first true assignment is eradicating a suspected separatist stronghold run by the cessationist organisation known as ‘Bethel’. However, Nyx comes to find that the stronghold is located in the Eastern Sector and his home is in the crossfire…
What happened…? Nyx asks himself. He awakes 1,000 years later, having been placed into cryosleep. He awakens to find the world a very different place than he had left it and seeks to recover the memories of what happened.
Can he differentiate friend from foe, will he discover his true nature, what is the meaning of his existence?

Introduction
Nyx was a boy who led a relatively normal life until he came of military age. He lived in the ‘Eastern Sector’ with his parents and enjoyed a nature-rich peaceful existence, though under an oppressive regime. The organisation known as ‘Babel’ has long ruled the land upon which he lives and now, more than ever, they require soldiers. Since he’s reached the age of conscription, he’s enlisted. However, Babelian leadership have long known who Nyx is and what he is capable of.
